Editorial Policy

Hairsloom publishes practical hair care guides and free tools. This page explains how our content is created, so you know what to expect from us.

Our approach

We write in plain language and try to keep advice honest and realistic. We don’t promise miracle results or “secret” growth tricks. Where the evidence is limited, we say so.

How we research

Our guides are written by Hairsloom Editorial Team and based on information from reputable medical and health sources, such as the NHS and the American Academy of Dermatology. Health-related articles list their main sources at the end so you can read them yourself.

What our content is and isn’t

Hairsloom is for general education only. We are not medical professionals, and our articles and tools do not diagnose conditions or replace advice from a doctor or dermatologist. Please read our Medical Disclaimer.

Products and independence

We don’t currently accept payment for reviews or recommendations, and we don’t use affiliate links. If that ever changes, we will clearly label it on the relevant pages.

Keeping content up to date

We review and update articles when new information becomes available, and the “last updated” date on each article shows when it was last changed.

Corrections

If you spot an error or something that looks out of date, please tell us at [email protected] and we will review it promptly.
